1. Standing alone
   1. Sometimes we must stand alone for the right. (Ex 23:2)

      3. Be steady and firm by taking a stand in the Gospel.
      4. Never wavering, but holding the line of defense.
3. What we must stand FOR
   1. The Right Life—purity of life
      1. In Thought—Mt. 12:34-35; Pro. 4:23
      2. In Speech – Mt. 12:36-37; Eph. 4:29
      3. In Deed – Phil. 1:27; Tit. 2:11-12
   2. The Right Doctrine
      1. The Right Gospel – Gal. 1:6-12
   3. The Right Church – Mt. 16:18; Col. 1:18; Eph. 2:22-24, 4:4
   4. The Right Worship – Jn. 4:24
4. What we must stand AGAINST
   1. False Doctrine – Rom. 16:17; Gal. 1:6-12
      1. A perverted Doctrine
         1. Denominationalism—with its myriad churches
         2. Modernism—with its social gospel
      2. Corruptions to God’s design for worship, the home, Christian conduct
   2. Vain and False Hope
      1. Premillennialism—that Christ will return and reign for a thousand years
      2. Rapture—That Christ will take up the righteous and give the rest another chance.
      3. When Christ returns, He will not establish an earthly kingdom; He will return the spiritual kingdom over which He has reigned since the first Pentecost following His resurrection, to the Father. (1 Cor. 15:24-26)
